Pull & Pour 9.1/10 Overall Review: Organic Ethiopia Dur Feres Natural
In August of 2020, we sent our Organic Ethiopia Dur Feres Natural in for a blind review by the mighty Pull & Pour Coffee review service. This was our first time submitting to Pull & Pour Coffee and we were very honored that in their blind assessment, they rated this fruity Ethiopian as an overall 9.1 out 10! This Natural coffee, whose name translates to “Wild Horse” is one our favorites and it routinely graces our offering list. Roast Ratings 5 Star Review: Organic Ethiopia Bombe Natural
Joining the Organic Ethiopia Keramo Natural in March of 2020 for a blind review conducted by Roast Ratings was our Organic Ethiopia Bombe Natural. In this review, this delicious, creamy and fruit forward natural was rated at 5 stars out of 5 stars - the highest attainable score! Along with the Keramo this great representative of Ethiopian coffee was also given a traditional rating of a whopping 94 points! This coffee was so delicious and unlike it’s review mate - the Keramo, it is still available! Australian International Coffee Awards 2020 Bronze Medalist: Pillage Espresso Blend
In early March of 2020, we participated in an international roasting competition in Australia - the Australian International Coffee Awards conducted by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria. We competed against 800 coffee entries from 16 countries and in the end sailed away with a Bronze Medal on the international stage for our light roasted, Pillage Espresso blend! Roast Ratings 5 Star Review: Organic Ethiopia Keramo Natural
In March of 2020 we were again able to send in two of our favorite light roasts to Kansas City for their independent, blind review by the fine folks of Roast Ratings. As previously mentioned, they review panels of coffee on a star based rating system, with a max score of 5 stars being the highest possible rating attainable. For this review, however, they also included a traditional point based rating. In their blind assessment, not only was this fruit bomb of a Natural Ethiopian rated at 5 stars out of 5 stars - but it also received a traditional rating of 92 points! Along with The Ranger blend in February of 2020, we sent in our light roasted, single origin coffee from Africa, the Uganda Sironko Natural, for a blind review conducted by Roast Ratings. In this review, this truly great representative of naturally processed Ugandan coffee, was rated at 5 stars out of 5 stars - the highest attainable score! This coffee was so delicious, Roast Ratings held a special promotion and gave it away to a lucky winner! While this coffee is now sold and gone, it is definitely not forgotten.
